Committed to helping individuals & families overcome the financial burden of fertility treatments.

The Modern Miracle Foundation is a registered Canadian charity. It was started by a family who knows first-hand how difficult and expensive fertility treatments. Modern Miracle turns generous donations into grants for those struggling to afford fertility treatments, helping ease their financial stress and making fertility treatments more accessible for them.

Why we exist

Many people suffering from fertility issues either cannot afford the medical treatment they require to help them conceive or it leaves them financially drained and forced to make difficult choices.

On top of that, it comes with widespread social stigma, leaving many of those suffering feeling ashamed, pressured, alone and hopeless.

Did you know?

  • The average cost of a single IVF cycle in Canada is $20,000 and more than one cycle is often required to achieve results.

  • In Canada, the cost of surrogacy can range from $58,000 – $90,000 and increases if the surrogate does not get pregnant on the first try.

  • There is limited government funding as many provinces do not provide sufficient or any coverage. For example, Ontario only covers a single IVF cycle per patient, per lifetime and this excludes medication.

  • There is minimal employer insurance coverage. Although this is changing, right now only 5% of employers in Canada offer coverage for both fertility drugs, testing and treatments.
